Flash Tattoos - Wild Child.

NL: Laatst kwam ik weer eens iets ontzettend leuks tegen. Vroeger heb je vast wel eens een nep tatoeage gedragen, en hoewel echte tattoos steeds meer worden gezet wil niet iedereen zoiets permanent op zijn lichaam hebben. Zelf vind ik kleine tattoos ook altijd erg mooi, en daarom vond ik deze nep tattoos ook ontzettend leuk. Ze zijn namelijk niet alleen in zwart, maar ook met zilver en goud. Vooral bij Amerikaanse en Engelse Youtubers zie ik dit steeds meer, en laatst kwam ik het dus gewoon op een Nederlandse website tegen, namelijk ProjectStyleHunter.

EN: Lately I came among something really fun. Remember when you were little.. you had these small, fake tattoos and you really liked to wear them. I had them too, but this is something even more fun because of the colours. Real tattoos are way more high fashion now than back in the days, but even though that not everyone likes something permanently stained on their skin. I myself like small tattoos, but I also don't want something permanently on my skin and this is a really cool and fun way to try it out for a shorter while. I saw these fake Flash Tattoos a lot on American and English youtubers, and I found this online website where they sell the tattoos. These black tattoos with silver and golden details are being sold on ProjectStyleHunter.

NL: Je kunt deze tattoos kopen in setjes van vier vellen. Ik koos zelf voor het setje Wild Child, en voor zo'n set betaal je dan €34.95. Het is misschien even prijzig, maar het is wel ontzettend gaaf om een keer uit te proberen en dan valt die prijs nog wel mee. Bovendien krijg je hiervoor in dit geval 27 tattoos en doe je dus ook wel een tijdje met een set.

EN: You can buy these tattoos in packs of four sheets. I chose for the Wild Child pack, and for one of these packs you pay €34.95, which is $44.10. Maybe it's a little expensive, but it's also really cool to try out sometime and if you look at it that way the price isn't that high. And you get a lot of tattoos, so it is not something you have to throw away after trying it out once.

NL: Op bovenstaande foto zie je de eerste twee vellen uit deze set. De Wild Child set sprak mij onmiddellijk al het meeste aan omdat hij ook rondom het thema egypte gaat, en daar ben ik nou eenmaal dol op. Ik vind de horus ogen ontzettend gaaf, en eigenlijk vind ik alle designs wel erg leuk.

EN: In the picture above you see the first two sheets from this set. The Wild Child pack really appealed to me because you have a few Egyptian tattoos, and I love that. I especially like the horus eyes, but actually I like all of them a lot.

NL: En dan de laatste twee vellen. Op het linker vel heb je allemaal tattoos waar bloemen in zijn verwerkt, en rechts heb je weer een aantal van mijn grote favorieten; pijlen. Ik vind pijl tattoos echt prachtig, met name omdat de betekenis me ontzettend aanspreekt. Ik heb hier dan ook al twee tattoos van geprobeerd, beide pijlen.

EN: And than the last two sheets. On the left sheet you have a few tattoos with flowers in it, and on the right you can again find some of my favourites; arrows. I think arrow tattoos are absolutely stunning, especially because I really love the meaning of them. From this sheet I also actually tried two of the tattoos, both arrows.

NL: De eerste tattoo die ik uitprobeerde was deze gouden set met pijlen. Ik had hem iets te hoog aangebracht op mijn pols waardoor ik dus telkens als ik mijn hand bewoog de tattoo een beetje beschadigde, en omdat hier al barsten bovenin zaten -dit hoort bij de tattoo- duurde het niet heel lang voordat de bovenkant er af was. De onderkant zat er echter nog perfect op. Ik heb deze tattoo ook meegenomen onder de douche, en daar merkte ik dat hij er vrij snel af ging. Ik ging gewoon rustig met een washandje over de huid en daar vervaagde hij helaas door, maar dit was wederom vooral bovenaan. Niet zo slim om hem dus zo hoog te plaatsen, maar dat was een tip voor de tweede keer!

EN: The first tattoo I tried was this golden set of arrows. I applied it a little bit to high on my wrist, and because of that the tattoo started breaking everytime I moved my hand. It didn't take long before the top was of the tattoo, but this was just because of my own fault. The bottom was still perfectly on my skin. I also took this shower under the shower, and I noted that it would go off quite easily, but again just on the top. I washed my skin with a washing cloth really softly, but even though that it came of my skin. So, I concluded that it wasn't that smart to place it that high. A tip for the second time!

NL: Een tweede poging wilde ik zeker wagen, want de tattoos vond ik nog steeds leuk en het was gewoon mijn eigen schuld dat de vorige er zo snel af ging. Op bovenstaande foto heb ik een nieuwe aangebracht, en daarnaast ook nog een rijtje stipjes van een andere tattoo. De combinatie vond ik ontzettend leuk, en het lijmlaagje wat je op de foto ziet ging na een tijdje gewoon weg. Deze foto is echter vlak na aanbrengen al gemaakt.

Deze tattoo bleef dan ook veel langer zitten. De website gaf aan dat hij vier tot zes dagen bleef zitten, en ik heb hem er zeven dagen opgehad voordat ik vond dat hij niet meer zo mooi was en ik hem wilde verwijderen. Zo zie je maar weer dat je zelf ook echt even goed moet kijken hoe het het beste werkt voor het beste resultaat. Ik ben ontzettend enthousiast over deze leuke tattoos en ik ga ze zeker blijven dragen. Weer eens wat anders dan een armbandje!

EN: Of course I wanted to give it a second try, because I liked the tattoo designs a lot and it was just my own fault that the previous tattoo didn't stick around that long. On the picture above I applied a new one, and next to the arrow I placed a line with dots from another tattoo. You can just seperate them easily because you are the one who decides how the tattoo is going to look when you're trying out combinations. I love this combination a lot, and the glue coating on the picture was also gone really fast. This was just there because I took the picture right after applying the tattoo.

And yes, this tattoo sticked around for way longer. The website said that the tattoo would stay for four to six days, and mine stayed on for a whole week. Seven days with this beautiful tattoo before I thought that it didn't look as pretty anymore and I wanted to remove it. So there you have it; you have to work a little bit with it to see how the best results can be accomplished. I really love these tattoos and I'm definitely going to wear them a lot. This is just something else than a piece of jewelry, and thats how I like it.
